April 19th was national record store
day,and this is my quote retaining to the theme of the day and the movement..
" I worked in Camelot and Disc Jockey stores in 1993-1996..I loved talking to people about the local events and concerts
going on,plus
I met some famous singers who would come in to purchase music,from Mike Dimeo who was played with the likes of Riot,Deep
Purple,and Masterplan, among others! Plus members of The Monkees, The McColloborater,Joe Beaty from D_Composure,Spaz
from SWS,plus I also met alot of aspiring musicians,who were checking out music from Metallica,Pearl Jam,Nirvana,Pink Floyd,Chuck
Berry,among others...Plus I loved shopping at a local music store called Confusion Records,and buying Vinyl!!! Stuff
from Diamond Head,KISS,Metallica, Riot and other great rock and metal bands...I gotta have the artwork and the lyrics,every
now and then I download a song,but it always is a pay for the song kinda site,and as an indie artist myself,I don't want
my music and the music I love to dissapear cause some people don't apprieciate an artist work and rights as a member
of the music world..."
